Steeltown is a resource in the making. We are constantly adding to the site, both in the area of new links and, increasingly, in the area of free and 'for fee' industry data. We have not promoted the site extensively so please tell your colleagues and friends if you have found us useful. New search engines find the site with increasing frequency so it will show up in more and more searches.

The site is a sort of open workbook - a place where we, and other people researching the industry, leave the web-based & other resources that have helped find information about the steel industry from all its many aspects. Please add to it. It's intended to be useful to all who want to research the industry worldwide.
